Young Ranger Day

About This Event

The Young Ranger Day at Orford Ness National Nature Reserve allows participants to act as rangers. Activities include monitoring moths and learning about landscape management. Tickets are free.

A great opportunity to be a ranger for the day. Help monitor the moths that live on Orford Ness, learn how we manage the landscape to make it such an important site for wading and migrating birds. Dissect owl pellets to help discover what small mammals live on site and help check our wildlife cameras to find out what the wildlife does when we're not around. For children aged 5-12 years.

Please note: Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who must book a ticket for the ferry crossing. If more than one parent/guardian would like to attend, please get in touch to let us know.
