About This Event

The National Museum of Scotland is hosting Curiosity Club, an engaging series of sessions for young explorers aged seven to eleven. Taking place on Monday 29 March, this event offers children a fantastic opportunity to delve into the museum's treasures in a fun and interactive way. Participants will be encouraged to discover the vast collections at their own pace, guided by a variety of games, stimulating activities, and focused gallery visits. Each element of the Curiosity Club is thoughtfully designed to spark imagination and foster a genuine interest in history, science, and culture. It’s a chance for children to develop their independence while learning and having a memorable experience within the museum's inspiring spaces. Tickets are priced at £10 per child, with a reduced rate of £9 available for museum members and those eligible for concessions.

The sessions are designed to spark imagination and foster a genuine interest in history, science, and culture. Each element of the Curiosity Club is thoughtfully designed to encourage children to discover the vast collections at their own pace, guided by a variety of games, stimulating activities, and focused gallery visits.

The event features a variety of activities and games inspired by the museum's collections. Sessions are for children aged 7 to 11 years, although all children and families are welcome. A relaxed version of the Curiosity Club sessions is available for children with additional support needs, neurodivergent children, or children with disabilities.

Practical details include the availability of lifts to all floors of the museum, wheelchairs for loan at no charge, and assistance dogs welcome.
