About This Event

This forthcoming programme presents a weekly visual art initiative designed specifically for young people between the ages of eleven and thirteen. Running from September through November 2026 at Waterford Youth Arts, the series explores a diverse array of artistic mediums within a structured educational setting. The venue hosts this dedicated creative environment where participants engage in hands-on exploration across various forms of expression.

Saturday Art Club is a weekly Visual Art programme that explores a wide range of art mediums for young people aged 11 - 13 years.

Get ready for a new term of Visual Arts with Ruth Flynn for 11 – 13 year olds. As part of these workshops, Ruth guides the participants through a wide variety of art forms from painting to clay sculpture from collage to screen printing and urban art/muralling.

This series of fun and creative workshops are great for young people who enjoy creating, making, doing and exploring. No experience is necessary and cost includes materials.

At Waterford Youth Arts, the safety of young people is paramount. We are excited to be back and we are really looking forward to meeting new creatives as well as welcoming back all our friends from last time.
