Plymouth Diocese are hosting a free training day - Trauma Informed practice in faith settings, on 31st October provided by Join The Dots.

The Safeguarding Team at The Diocese of Plymouth are proud to host a second free training day aimed around becoming and maintaining Trauma Informed practice in faith settings.

The training day is provided by Join The Dots - Trauma, Attachment, Faith | Join The Dots

This training session will focus on trauma in the body, mind, spirit and the impact trauma can have. Becoming trauma informed and spotting shame, detattchment, issues and how best to respond well to keep ourselves safe.

The Safeguarding Team at Plymouth Diocese are providing this training to encourage any individuals working within ministry that may be interested in our upcoming Chaplaincy for Survivors project roles to attend. If you are interested in Chaplaincy for Survivors for The Diocese, this training would be compulsory to attend should you wish to pursue this voluntary role aswell as an opportunity to express your interest and meet the team.
