The festival brings a fun pond dipping session for the public to discover the hidden world beneath the water’s surface, guided by experts from Attenborough Nature Reserve.

Join us for a fun pond dipping session and discover the hidden world beneath the water’s surface.

Guided by our experts, you will explore the Nature Gardens pond and uncover a variety of fascinating freshwater creatures, learning how to identify them along the way. Using nets and trays, we’ll take a closer look at what we find before carefully returning everything to its habitat. Our team will be on hand throughout to answer your questions and share their knowledge. A great opportunity to get up close to these often overlooked species and learn more about pond life.
