Our Conservation Takeover Days allow visitors to see behind-the-scenes and speak to our specially trained staff members about the meticulous work they carry out all year round to protect the collections in our care.

You can discover how they look after our textile, ceramic and book collection, as well as detailed information on how we protect the house and the furniture from bugs.

Ormesby Hall is open from 10.30am – 4pm on the day, with the Conservation in action taking place between 10.30am – 1.30pm. No booking is required for this event. Normal admission applies.
