Set in the dressing room of a struggling non-league football club, The Red Lion is a powerful, humorous drama by Oscar-nominated writer Patrick Marber. It pits a passionate, veteran kit-man against an ambitious, win-at-all-costs manager in a fierce battle for the soul of a gifted teenage prodigy.

David Thacker is an Olivier Award-winning theatre and television director known for his highly acclaimed work with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Young Vic, and the Octagon Theatre in Bolton
