Ceramics in Nature

Join Miyuki this Autumn for a series of hands-on experiences where you can create ceramic art inspired by the unique Tump 53 Nature Reserve in Thamesmead. This is perfect for beginners who love to get their hands dirty and connect with nature!

Ceramics in Nature is supported by Thamesmead Community Fund for residents of Bexley and Greenwich so please add your postcode when you register.

Through the sessions, you will learn basic skills of hand-building ceramics - pinch pot, slabbing, coiling and to finish with underglaze painting! Each session will start with a short walk outside at Tump 53 to collect nature materials and to be inspired by the surrounding environment before the creative sessions start inside the Education centre. Why not create a gift for those you love?

There will be 5 days / sessions each on a Saturday.
