Women Who Write hosts a full-day writing retreat titled Glasgow Day Writing Retreat at The Boardwalk on 19 September 2026. The wellness event includes writing sprints and refreshments, with further details available on the website.

A full-day writing retreat for women and non-binary writers in central Glasgow, with writing sprints, refreshments and a friendly community. Whether you're working on a novel, editing a thesis, journalling, drafting a newsletter or simply trying to build a writing habit, this is dedicated time to focus on your project without distractions. We'll provide structured writing sessions, plenty of breaks to chat, plus unlimited snacks and cold refreshments throughout the day. A few FAQs: There's no pressure to share your work—we're just here to cheer you on. No need to hit a particular word count or goal. Bring a notebook or laptop; there's Wi-Fi and plenty of charging points. Anyone who identifies as a woman or as non-binary is welcome. We are an LGBTQ+ safe space.
