We decided to take a break in producing the festival this year because we want to give you all the festival you deserve…. But that doesn’t mean we can’t bring you some extra special events until then! Normally, we love turning our autumn event into a cheeky wee fundraiser to help send our incredible burlesque legends to the Burlesque Hall of Fame. But this last year, we thought, “Why not just give it straight to them AND BRING them a legend." We'll still be sending a portion of our proceeds to the Burlesque Hall of Fame, because we can’t let our legends miss out, but everything else will be going to ensure our very special superstar whose coming for a lovely wee weekend in Glasgow! MADAME E Madame E began her career dancing as Pearl Divine in Honolulu in 1970, and traveled to Guam and throughout the Pacific entertaining the troops during Vietnam. From there she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked small clubs and began dancing at private parties for celebrities and entertainers while she raised 2 daughters and attended college. She returned to the Burlesque stage in the early 2000s as Madame E, was welcomed into the Burlesque Hall of Fame as a legend by Dixie Evans, and had been taking off her clothes on stages across the country ever since Tickets will be on a sliding scale with a suggested £25 an we’ll be offering a VIP ticket which will include a goodie bag, a reserved seat and entry to “An Afternoon with Madame E” which will take place on the 5th September.
