When high schooler Agnes Evans loses her younger sister, Tilly, she struggles to understand the world her sister left behind. But when Agnes discovers Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she is catapulted into an action-packed journey through a fantastical realm filled with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, fearsome quests, and the secrets of a sister she never truly knew. Packed with heart, humour, fantasy, and 90s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen’s She Kills Monsters is a high-octane dramatic comedy and a powerful tribute to friendship, grief, identity, and the warrior within us all.
