About This Event

Glastonbury's own Reef are set to grace the stage at Cambridge Junction on Sunday, 4 October 2026. This much-anticipated gig promises a potent injection of rock and roll energy, following the band's recent resurgence. Their latest album, 'Shoot Me Your Ace', has enjoyed considerable success, climbing into the UK Top 20 and signalling a vibrant new chapter for the seasoned musicians. Fans can expect a performance that channels the revitalised spirit evident in their new material. The evening's proceedings are scheduled to commence at 7pm, offering ample time to immerse yourself in the powerful sounds of Reef. This is a prime opportunity to witness a band confidently reasserting their place at the forefront of the UK rock scene.

Glastonbury rockers REEF are firmly back re-energised like never before with a confident spring in their step which has already seen the band soar back into the UK Top 20 with their recently released hit album ‘Shoot Me Your Ace” produced by Duran Duran’s Andy Taylor. Since the album’s release the band have opened for the likes of the Rolling Stones at their Olympic Stadium show in Munich, Headlined the Avalon Stage at Glastonbury and have performed at some of the best and most prestigious festivals across the UK and Europe while also just recently finishing a UK tour with rock legends Deep Purple. With the reinvigorated lineup which sees Original members Gary Stringer (Vocals) & Jack Bessant (Bass) now joined by one of the UK’s most highly revered drummers Luke Bullen (Bryan Ferry/ Joe Strummer/ K.T Tunstall) as well as also being bolstered by the addition of North Devon virtuoso Guitarist Amy Newton the band have arguably never sounded so good. That said it’s hard not to feel that this is a band destined for even greater and bigger things as anyone that has seen the band recently will attest to. Gary Stringer is on the vocal form of his life and alongside him Jack Bessants Bulldozer Bass riffs have never sounded so good. The spirit of this band is infectious and the bands new repertoire is going down a storm wherever they play as well as the bands outstanding version of the Fleetwood Mac Classic the Chain which has been a live fan favorite ever since the band performed it live on Virgin Radio a year ago.
