About This Event

On Saturday 5 September, Bodhrán Workshop will take place at Scoil an Chroi Naofa in Athlone from 09:00 to 13:00. The session features Ryan Owens, a bodhrán and banjo player from Strokestown, Co Roscommon, who also performs as a sean nós singer and set dancer. Attendees can book tickets for €27.79 to participate in this Irish music workshop.

Ryan Owens is a Bodhrán & banjo player from Strokestown Co.Roscommon. He also is a

Sean nós & set dancer. Ryan learned his Bodhrán playing from the great Junior Davey of

Sligo. Ryan has won multiple titles throughout his career in both music & dancing and has

performed across the globe. A dedicated bodhrán teacher since a young age, he is

passionate about inspiring and developing the next generation of players.

Workshop attendees must be at minimum Intermediate level. Please contact us if you are unsure about your level
