About York Dungeon Standard Admission

York Dungeon Standard Admission at York Dungeon takes visitors through 2,000 years of York’s darker history. The experience includes live actors, dark historical scenes, immersive sets and special effects as it brings events and characters from the city’s past to life.

Along the way, you encounter Vikings and their Saxon enemies, as well as figures including Guy Fawkes and Isabella Billington. The journey also covers the Black Death and a torture chamber, presenting York’s history in a theatrical, sensory format.
