About This Event

The Heritage Open Days at Nostell will take place on 18 September 2026 at Nostell in Wakefield. The event brings the history of Nostell and its inhabitants to life. Visitors can explore the house, gardens, and woodland walk.

Support our conservation work by enjoying lunch in the café or at the pizza trailer, browsing the shop, or picking up a pre-loved book from one of our bookshops.

Meet a famous Tudor family at Nostell, and watch as we uncover the secrets hidden in the Thomas More family portrait.

There's no need to book and the event is included in the price of your parking ticket. National Trust members park free. Non-members: £5.00 per car.
