Young Makers Summer Workshop
Discover the skills and creativity that helped shape the Ironbridge Gorge during the Industrial Revolution through two fun, family-friendly activities recommended for ages 8+.
Create Your Own Print
Try your hand at traditional etching techniques to design and print your very own picture. Create an original masterpiece or choose from one of our specially designed images inspired by the Coalbrookdale collection. You'll take home your unique print as a souvenir of your day.
Make a Colourful Candle
Dip a white candle in different coloured wax to create a unique souvenir of your visit to Ironbridge. This traditional dipping method was used was used by chandlers who made candles for businesses and homes in the Gorge.
Important Information
Please meet outside the Museum of Iron 15 minutes before your workshop start time, where a member of our team will welcome you.
Free parking is available at the museum.
Due to room capacity, we kindly ask that no more than two non-participating adults accompany each booking group.

Young Makers Summer Workshop
