About This Event

The Poppy seed harvesting and crafting workshop will be held on 12 September 2026 at 13:00 at Upper Hurst Farm, Hathersage in Sheffield, teaching participants how to harvest poppy seeds and use them in creative projects.

Learn how to harvest poppy seeds and use them in creative crafting projects.

Join us for a hands-on workshop in a beautiful countryside location near Hathersage.

Date: Saturday 12th September 2026

Time: 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Location: Countryside location near Hathersage

Spaces available: 8

We'll spend some time foraging for poppies before returning to the studio for refreshments followed by a couple of different crafting projects, plus harvesting of seeds.

Due to uneven ground and steps this event is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Access to the venue should be via car as there is no public transport links nearby. It is possible to walk to the venue from Hathersage village but you need to allow approximately 1 hour to get there.
