About This Event

A dog agility course event for International Dog Day will be held at Wentworth Castle Gardens in Sheffield on 26 August 2026 at 12:00. Participants can attempt the course while volunteers provide support throughout the session.

Think you've got what it takes to get a paw-some score along our course? Come and have a go!

Our volunteers will be on hand throughout the session for some light-hearted scoring and to give dog friendly tips on bringing your pooch pals to Wentworth Castle Gardens. They may even have a few treats for good doggos!

After chatting to the team why not head out into the parkland or gardens for a good leg stretch. The visitor welcome team have maps available if you've not visited us before.

Dogs are also welcome in the café and we have a dog friendly seating space at the back of the play area. Please note only assistance dogs are allowed in the conservatory and all dogs must be kept on a short fixed length lead at all times.
