DC Presents: Dead Finks / Fashion Tips / Tradwife

Dead Finks is a post-punk group based in Berlin, Germany. Their music tows a fine line between the genre's typical ironic detachment and a genuine sense of emotional earnestness, something they have in common with The Replacements, Wire, Pavement and Protomatryr, who they've toured with.

The band started gaining traction in 2021 when the video for their single "(My Human) Extinction" was premiered on the taste-making Harakiri Diät channel, becoming a modest hit in underground punk circles.

Their songs range from the abrasive and intense to earwormy-y and accessible, with their 2026 effort "New Plastik Abyss" earning praise and plays from everyone; teenage TikTok influencers to NTS radio alike.

This is also the year that Dead Finks finally tour the UK for the first time, the ancestral home of many of their creative forebears and finest contemporaries, after years of touring mainland Europe, handpicked as support by the likes of Dry Cleaning, Stuck, Fuzz, Folly Group, Sheer Mag and many others.
