About This Event

The Reading Scribblers hosts a monthly, free in-person gathering at the Reading Biscuit Factory on 10 September 2026. This informal literary session welcomes poets, novelists, and screenwriters to write and converse together. Various performers will take part in the event.

Monthly free in-person get together to write and natter.

A free, informal and supportive in-person group for Reading writers. All writers welcome: poets, novelists, screenwriters, master scribes, plotters, pantsers, newbies, rebel-rousers and window gazers.

Meet up at 6.30pm on Thursday 10th July 2025.

One hour's writing time followed by a drink and a chat.

Writing is mostly done alone but it doesn't need to be lonely. Let's cheer each other on and celebrate the writing talent in Reading.
