As Cowes celebrates the 200th anniversary of it’s famous sailing regatta, the Lawn Bar has got an event to kick off the best week of the year on the Isle of Wight! Party people…are you ready for this?? The Epic Lawn Bar Cowes Party Night sponsored by Musto is locked in and happening on Saturday 1st August…it’s an event that going to have you buzzing, so save the date and get these red-hot tickets booked ASAP! It’s going to be one of the main social gatherings of the week, so DO NOT MISS OUT! Dust of your dancing shoes (yes, sailing folk, your deck shoes will do) and come on down to the Musto Lawn Bar to party the night away with all your friends…we’re celebrating two whole centuries of the towns famous sailing regatta and Northwood House has been there since year 1 ! This year we’re going extra extra large with a huge celebrity DJ headliner to help get the 200 year anniversary celebrations underway. Radio 2’s mid-morning front man and national TV treasure Vernon Kay will be red-jetting in and aims to have you raving and misbehaving on the lawns as he plays an epic headline set of the best 90’s dance and party anthems from that incredible era. Vernon is renowned for delivering high-energy sets packed with iconic anthems, current hits, and feel-good party bangers. Known for his infectious charisma and crowd connection, Vernon brings big tunes, big moments, and an unforgettable party atmosphere wherever he plays across the UK at festivals and major public events. We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Vernon to Cowes to kick start this epic week on the Musto Lawn Bar Stage! Expect hands-in-the-air anthems, infectious grooves, and non-stop energy. Vernon Kay’s DJ sets mix modern dance tracks with timeless classics to create a euphoric, feel-good experience and will have the whole crowd on their feet dancing the night away. And don’t you worry, we’ve got some top live music too before Vernon takes to the decks! Supporting our incredible headline act will be GOOD TIMES…an incredible 7 piece band playing 90 minutes of party tunes galore between 7.30pm and 9pm to get you on your feet and dancing in front of the stage with a drink in hand. This energy-packed experience comes complete with dazzling sequins, stylish outfits, engaging crowd interactions, and all the signature elements that make the Good Times experience unforgettable for music fans. With a setlist of timeless classics from Chic to Sister Sledge and Diana Ross to David Bowie, Good Times are the perfect party pleasers! Plus ahead of main proceedings well be getting things warmed up with favourite local DJ Josh Davies from “Beats on Tap” as gates open at 6.30pm, with a closing set from DJ Chan to end the party from 11pm to 12am. The The Epic Lawn Bar Cowes Party Night (sponsored by Musto) is a fully licenced ticketed event with all event bars on the lawn open from 6.30pm for the duration of the evening. Great food on site will be provided by our guest caterers for the week, so you can eat and drink all evening if required. This is an outdoor concert, with only limited garden furniture seating available on a first come first served basis situated on the peripheries of the main standing area. However sitting down will be the last thing on your mind at this event…its all about the dancing! The all-weather Lawn Bar Mermaid Lounge with a mix of lounge seating (sofas/tub chairs) is available to book to enhance your experience, with exclusive access to it’s own event bar. Seating packages are available in groups/multiples of 4 or 8 people only with welcome drinks included. Direct stage viewing is limited from the marquee while seated, but a reserved viewing area (standing) is available exclusively for Club Marquee guests. Plus Vernon’s biggest fans can get a chance to chat to our star in person with a special meet & greet opportunity with a glass of champagne on the night in the Northwood House Drawing between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
