The Plymouth Writers Network hosts its 'Write And Share' session at Read, Write, Yap within the Mills Bakery on 19 September 2026. Local writers are invited to gather and spend time writing alongside one another in a community setting. Participants will have the opportunity to share short extracts from their current works in progress during this event. The gathering takes place as part of the wider Read, Write, Yap programme at Royal William Yard.

As part of Read, Write, Yap at Royal William Yard we're hosting a relaxed meet up space at Mills Bakery.
Over the two hours we will write together and there will be the chance to share a short piece of your current work in progress (one poem or one page) for some supportive peer feedback.
There will also be a chance to learn more about Plymouth Writers Network and other events coming up in future.
Please bring something to write with!
If you would like to share a poem or one page of prose/script at the event please email us at plymouthwritersnetwork@gmail.com. If we have more writers wanting to share than time allows we will draw randomly from a hat.
