About Garage Flower
Garage Flower came to be in 2000 in Nokia, but became in fact active in the fall of that year in Helsinki. The band settled on its current line-up when Mimmi took over on the drums and Jukka switched on the guitar. Garage Flower's songs are written by Antti and Kimmo. Both are hopeless pop-culture addicts and their influences are wide-ranging. The music is a combination of trash-culture aesthetics: one hit wonders, new wave singles and other weird 80s stuff
