About This Event

The Moonrakers picnic concert takes place on 26 July 2026 at Waterperry Gardens in Oxford. This annual summer event is held in the gardens' amphitheatre. A four-piece band provides the musical performance.

Moonrakers Picnic Concert has become an annual early evening summer event in the beautiful Amphitheatre at Waterperry Gardens. The band of four present sparkling multi-instrumental music and songs played on harp, cello, fretted instruments, flutes, keyboard and female/male vocals. There will be chorus songs, traditional and contemporary folk music, beautiful harmony singing and some terrible jokes! The extended interval allows you to wander the Gardens and enjoy your picnic. Date: Sunday 26 th July Time: 6:00pm (doors open at 5.30pm, interval 6.45-7.40pm) Finish: 8.30pm Venue: Amphitheatre Tickets : £20 (concessions available) There will be some tickets available on the door, but seating preference will be given to ticket holders.
