The event concept

As part of The Sun & Moon Month, KWF is bringing the SUN energy to the Quayside.

The Sun represents energy, confidence, movement and connection, basically everything we love about getting people together and moving their bodies.

And with the Great North Run done and dusted, this one isn’t about training plans, race pace or chasing another medal.

It’s about getting outside, moving together and enjoying running for what it can be, social, uplifting and bloody good for you.

We’ll meet at The Staiths Cafe, head out together for an easy, social 5K along the Quayside and finish right back where we started for coffees, food, chats and a chance to try the limited-edition Sun & Moon drinks.
