Join us for the FSHD North East & Cumbria Engagement Day to connect with the FSHD community, learn about the latest research and therapies.

This free event is open to people living with Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD), as well as their families and carers from across the North East, Cumbria, and beyond. It offers an opportunity to connect with others in the FSHD community, hear from clinicians and researchers, and learn about the latest developments in FSHD research and care.

The programme will include updates on current research, clinical trials, the UK FSHD Registry, Myo-Guide, MRI, and the psychological aspects of living with FSHD. A patient-led lived experience session, along with opportunities for questions and discussion, will encourage conversation, shared learning, and peer support.

This event will take place in the International Centre for Life, Biomedicine West Wing, 3rd Floor, in the Darwin Suite.
