Pioneer Ministry Gathering 2026

You are invited to the 2026 Annual Pioneer Ministry Gathering for everyone interested in Pioneer Ministry from across the Church of Ireland. We're really looking forward to gathering together and hearing from our keynote speaker, The Rt Revd Dr Graham Tomlin, along with other speakers from across the Church of Ireland.

Join us for a day of inspiration, practical application, and collaboration with other leaders from across the breath of the Island, as we learn together how we can reach those with little or no connection to church in the different contexts where God has called us. The Gathering will be in the Bloomfield House Hotel, Co Westmeath, where you will connect with others interested in Pioneer Ministry for a time of learning, equipping, sharing ideas and exploring innovative ways to further develop Pioneer Ministry in your location. Tea, coffee, and lunch provided. Please arrive from 10am for coffee and a prompt start at 10.30am.

Graham Tomlin, previously Bishop of Kensington from 2022-25, is now the Chair of the Inter-Anglican Standing Commission on Unity, Faith and Order. He is is the Editor-in-Chief of SeenandUnseen.com, President of St Mellitus College, and was the Director of the Centre for Cultural Witness from 2022-25. Graham was the founding Dean of St Mellitus College and before that, Vice Principal of Wycliffe Hall, Oxford, where he taught Historical Theology within the Theology Faculty of Oxford University. He is the author and editor of many books, most recently, Blaise Pascal: The Man who Made the Modern World (Hodder 2025). We are excited and honored to hear from Dr. Tomlin as he guides us through both the theological foundations and practical approaches to pioneering in today's world.
