About This Event

On 7 September 2026 at Dane Park in Margate, Mencap hosts a free multi-sports and walking silent disco specifically for adults with learning disabilities alongside their carers or support workers. Participants will enjoy active sessions featuring football, tennis, various games, and a group walking silent disco under the guidance of Various performers. This daytime community gathering offers an energetic opportunity for social interaction and physical activity in a supportive environment. Attendees are invited to join this inclusive event designed to foster connection through sport and movement.

Free session for Adults with Learning Disabilities and their carers or support workers of football, tennis, games and walking silent disco

Free session for Adults with Learning Disabilities and their carers or support workers in Dane Park funded by Mencap Our Active Community.

Participants will be able to chose activities from football, tennis, badminton, boxing, games and walking silent disco. Carers/support workers are welcome to join in or watch the activities. The participants will be able to choose which activities they would like to do and for how long they would like to do it for within the hour session.
