The event combines Assystem’s more than 25 years of Safety & Risk experience with a line-up of leaders and experts from across the nuclear industry, all focused on the outcomes of the UK Government’s response to the UK Nuclear Regulatory Review.

Through a busy programme of seminars and panel sessions, our CPD-accredited conference will bring together a wealth of knowledge and experience from across the nuclear industry to discuss what this shift means for licensing pathways, risk analysis, programme delivery and organisational culture.

Who will be attending?

Hannah Thompson (Head of Safety & Risk for Assystem) will be coordinating a conference with representation from the UK Ministry of Defence, Lloyd's Register, the Nuclear Institute, UKAEA, Community Nuclear Power, and a number of soon-to-be announced representatives.

Rebecca Weston, Director General, MoD: in her keynote, Rebecca will draw on her industry-leading experience to explore how the sector can reform regulation without weakening safety, providing key insights on maintaining independent assurance.

Professor Adrian Bull, Nuclear Institute President and Director at the Dalton Institute: Adrian is perfectly placed within the industry to highlight the impact of the UK’s Nuclear Taskforce Review and what this means in practice for the industry, following the UK Government’s acceptance of all 47 recommendations.
