About This Event

The Blossom Bird storytelling sessions take place on 28–29 August 2026 at Manchester Central Library. Aimed at ages 4–8, sessions are held at 11am and 1pm on 28 August and at 11am and 2pm on 29 August.

Venue: The Music Library, Floor 1, Manchester Central Library

Ages: 4-8 and their families

Length: 45 mins (with a meet and greet of the puppets after the performance)

Join storytellers and puppeteers, The League of Curiosity, to hear the tale of The Blossom Bird

Meet Pipit, a lost and featherless little bird, who is taken in by a family of wildflowers. With their gentle guidance, Pipit learns what it means to belong, to grow, and to trust the magic of who they truly are. Through story, song, and movement, this tiny dreamer blossoms into their real self - cheered on by the family who chose them.

A heart-felt tale that celebrates the wisdom of flowers, the beauty of blooms, and the power of being just who you are!
