Take your first step into competitive Warhammer 40,000.

Whether you've never attended a tournament before or you're looking for a relaxed day of great games, Start Competing has been designed as the perfect introduction to organised play.

This is Venture Gaming's very first event, and we're focused on delivering exactly the kind of tournament we'd want to attend ourselves: great terrain, friendly opponents, and three enjoyable games of Warhammer 40,000.

Whether you're bringing your favourite army, trying out a new list, or simply looking to meet fellow hobbyists, we'd love to welcome you.

Current Warhammer 40,000 rules

No Legends units

Bring your army list

All models should be fully assembled

🎨 Modelling & Painting

Painting is encouraged but not required.

Battle Ready armies receive +10 Event Points.

WYSIWYG is encouraged where practical.

Reasonable proxies are welcome if agreed with the Tournament Organiser before the event.

Models should be clear and easy for your opponent to identify.
