Enjoy the National Chart Hits and the classics of The Brit Funk Association, including Top 40 smashes, ‘Somebody Help Me Out, Time, Hi Tension, British Hustle, I’m So Happy, I Shot The Sheriff, Mule Chant Number 2 , Always There, and classic album tracks London Town, Peace On Earth as well as a fantastic homage to some of the other great Brit Funk Anthems of the era including classics such as ' Walkin' Into Sunshine' originally recorded by Central Line, 'Chant Number One' the number 2 record by Spandau Ballet which featured the dynamic horn section of Beggar & Co. All of these wonderful songs performed by the leading musicians of the Brit Funk genre.

Formed by pioneers of the music known as Brit Funk, The Brit-Funk Association features a fluid 10 piece collective of musicians, with a core of trumpet player Kenny Wellington, guitar player Breeze McKrieth and saxophonist and flautist David Baptiste of Beggar & Co and former founder members of the original Light of the World lineup, Patrick McLean saxophonist and vocalist from the original lineup of Hi Tension that recorded the first album and hit singles Hi Tension and British Hustle. Keyboard player Peter Hinds was also a member of the the Original lineup of Light of the World and is especially known for composing the classic jazz funk anthem, Pete's Crusade. Peter the recorded a number of albums and toured with Incognito for many years and co wrote the hit single 'Everyday". Audiences have been thrilled as the musicians come together and perform tracks from the extensive back catalogue tracks of The Official Chart hit recordings from the Top 40 such as "Time”, “Im So Happy" and “I Shot The Sheriff” by Light of the World, "Somebody (Help Me Out)"and Mule Chant Number 2 by Beggar & Co, "Hi-Tension"and "British Hustle", the classics by Hi Tension ‘’ Always There” by Incognito/Ronnie Laws as well as other classic tracks by the bands such as "There's a Reason", ""London Town", "Nature Boy", "Everyday" , and some of the great music that inspired them by bands like Kool & The Gang, The Blackbyrds and others of the genre. The band have performed sell out shows in clubs across the UK and also given stellar performances at festivals in both the UK and Europe. The core of the collective, Kenny Wellington, Paul McLean, Patrick McLean, Breeze McKrieth and Peter Hinds are joined onstage by some of the finest musicians and associates that have performed with the different bands over the years. This is not a tribute band but instead a celebration of the music played by the original and founding members joined by some of their long time colleagues who so happen to be some of the finest of the genre around.
