Plants that walk, flowers that smell of rotting flesh, carnivorous flora, and fungi that penetrate insects to consume their insides… Join us for a tour of the plants and fungi that have evolved some spooky adaptations, many of which have inspired horror films, myths, and legends. You’ll get up close to plants that feature in Little Shop of Horrors, Day of the Triffids, Children of the Corn, Dr Terror's House of Horrors, and more! Led by authors of Natural Thorn Killers: A Creeping Guide to Plant Horror, you’ll head into Kew’s basement that holds creepy fungi and an empty glasshouse full of prickly and carnivorous plants. ✨ Are you a Kew Member?
