Master the legal tools to reduce inheritance tax, from the fundamentals to the 2027 pension changes and advanced structuring for advisers.
A practical, in-person masterclass usually reserved for professional advisers, now tailored for the public, on legally mitigating inheritance tax. It covers how IHT actually works, the legitimate tools for reducing your exposure, and the planning implications of the 2027 changes to pension death benefits.
Led by Mohammad Uz-Zaman TEP, Chartered ALFBF, and Prajesh Patel DipPFS, Cert SMP, Directors of Private Clients at ADL.
We'll start with the fundamentals: the Nil-Rate Band, the Residence Nil-Rate Band and its tapering, Potentially Exempt Transfers, the CGT interaction and when IHT must be paid. From there we move into more advanced structuring, including leaving the UK and domicile planning, FOTRA securities, and alphabet share structures. Throughout, we draw on live case studies from ADL's private client practice.
