This event is for both practicing Buddhists, who may find it difficult to bring these issues into more traditional Buddhist study settings, and for anyone who would like to discuss daily life and philosophical issues through a Buddhist lens. They have had challenges studying in more gendered Buddhist spaces in the past and are looking forward to the opportunity to discuss the intersection between Buddhist practice and queer ways of being. Remi (they/them) started meditating four years ago, while re-assessing life after becoming chronically ill and recovering from burnout. They are particularly interested in how we can apply Buddhist practice and principles to create a joyous liberated future and more sustainable ways of living in the world.
