About DEEP-HEAT RIVALRY

DEEP-HEAT RIVALRY at The Other Palace is a parody set in the world of professional ice hockey. It follows sworn enemies Shane Hollandaise and Ilya Stroganoff, whose fierce on-ice rivalry hides a secret romance. Written and directed by Oliver-nominated Trevor Ashley, the show mixes locker-room drama, forbidden love and parody songs.

Loosely inspired by a hit TV series, the production leans into comedy, innuendo and a score that ranges from power ballad to party pop. The story centres on the relationship behind the clashes, with the hockey setting used as the backdrop for the humour.
