Make new friends and settle into London life at this relaxed autumn picnic for students. Join us for an afternoon picnic in Hyde Park, one of London's most beautiful green spaces, right beside the Serpentine lake.

Bring a blanket, and a snack or drink to share if you like. The picnic is free, and aimed at ages 18 to 28.

CBSN brings together students, new arrivals, professionals and internationally minded people with an interest in UK–China life, culture and connection. Our events are open to people of all nationalities and backgrounds.

Ask anything at all about settling in, from people who studied or worked here before you

Your CBSN experience doesn't end when the picnic does. Where to meet

Serpentine Bar & Kitchen, Hyde Park. Please arrive between 2:00 and 2:20 PM and look for the CBSN team in blue lanyards outside the café.

At 2:20 we'll walk onto the lawn beside the lake together. There are toilets, a café and indoor shelter right here, so we're fine rain or shine.

Nearest stations: Hyde Park Corner, Lancaster Gate and Marble Arch.
