A Midsummer Night's Dream 26S at the Globe Theatre is a new production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Set beneath starry summer skies, it places the play in a shared atmosphere of celebration where the everyday and the extraordinary meet.

On the eve of a royal wedding, a company of amateur performers prepares a play for the occasion and draws the audience into their story. Elsewhere, a group of lovers moves through a moonlit forest, crossing paths with playful spirits in a fairy realm as the night unfolds in confusion, mischief and transformation.
