Join Women in Construction North West for Building Connections: Liverpool, a relaxed afternoon tea networking event designed to bring together women working across construction and associated industries.

Taking place on Thursday 15 October 2026, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, the Liverpool event will run alongside other local Building Connections events across the North West, helping to create one wider WIC North West network.

Hosted locally by Commitee members Rachel and Claire, this session will provide a welcoming space for women at every stage of their career to meet, talk openly, share experiences and build meaningful professional relationships.

Whether you work on site, in the office, in consultancy, contracting, supply chain, design, engineering, property, social value, marketing, operations, leadership or are interested in entering the sector, you are welcome.

The afternoon will include informal networking, afternoon tea, guided conversation cards and a short community discussion to gather views on what WIC North West should focus on next.

We will explore topics such as confidence, mentoring, visibility, career progression, leadership, barriers in the industry and how we can better support women to enter, remain and progress in construction.
