Pop-up Cat Cafe Event

Come and enjoy a relaxing pop-up cat café experience, where you can spend time with friendly domestic cats in a calm and welcoming environment while enjoying refreshments.

This event is also being held as part of a postgraduate research project at the University of Lincoln, exploring the feasibility of opening a permanent cat café. Visitors may be invited to complete a short voluntary questionnaire about their experience, and general observations of the event will be undertaken to help evaluate the concept. Participation in the research is entirely voluntary and is not a condition of attending the event.

Please note: While children aged 6 and over are welcome to attend the event, only visitors aged 18 years and over will be invited to participate in the research questionnaire and provide research consent.

Photography may take place during the event. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let the researcher know before your session begins. Identifiable photographs will only be used where appropriate consent has been obtained.

Important Information

⏰ Each session is 1 hour long.

🐱 Suitable for ages 6 years and over only.

👨‍👩‍👧 Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

🐾 Please treat the cats gently and respectfully. The cats' welfare is our priority, and they will always have access to private rest areas away from visitors.

🚫 Please do not attend if you have a severe allergy to cats.

🧼 Hand sanitiser and handwashing facilities will be available before and after interacting with the cats.
