Come and meet Justine from ME Financial Services and discover what insurances and covers you can qualify forKeeping Your Future Options Open After Cancer"After catching up with Valerie recently, I found myself thinking about one of the stories people often tell themselves after a cancer diagnosis:"I\'ll never be able to get insurance again."It\'s completely understandable. When you\'ve been through diagnosis, treatment, scans, appointments and everything else that comes with cancer, insurance may feel like a distant concern. Many people assume that a cancer diagnosis automatically closes the door on future insurance applications. But that\'s not always the case.Over the last couple of years I\'ve listened to many conversations between underwriters, medical professionals and cancer survivors on Kathryn Knowles\' Practical Protection Podcast. One message comes up again and again:Future insurability isn\'t just about the diagnosis itself. It\'s also about what happens afterwards. Whilst no two situations are the same, there are some practical steps that can help keep future options open:✅ Attend follow-up appointments and scans.✅ Keep copies of consultant letters, pathology reports and treatment summaries.✅ Continue with any recommended treatment plans.✅ Don\'t assume a decision today will be the same decision in five or ten years\' time.✅ Remember that different insurers assess cancer histories differently.✅ Take advice before cancelling any existing insurance policies. For many people, insurance options improve as more time passes after treatment, particularly when follow-up results remain clear.Of course, there are no guarantees. There\'s an important difference between:"I\'ve had cancer."and "I\'ll never be able to get insurance again."They aren\'t always the same thing. If there\'s one thing I\'ve learned from listening to these stories, it\'s that recovery isn\'t just about treatment. It\'s also about keeping as many future choices open as possible.Join me, Justine at the centre or book your ticket to give permission to Together Against Cancer to ask me to contact you. When booking an appointment, you allow TAC to pass on your information (Name, Date of Birth, Address, Contact Number and Email address if applicable) to Justine Me from ME Financial Services
\n
