Create your own felted image using Yorkshire Wildlife Trust wool! The Trust has one of the largest flocks in the UK, so learn about the amazing job our conservation grazers do for wildlife as you felt.

A ccessibility and terrain

The workshop will take place inside the classroom bird hide which is next to the car park. There is a ramp up to the entrance.

What to bring/wear

All material is provided but please dress warmly as this event takes place inside the classroom bird hide.

Toilets and catering

There are toilets and a cafe on this site, and a picnic area. All of which are open all day all year round.

The Little Butty Bus is open from 8am until 2:30pm Tuesday to Sundays.

Parking

Large car park on Dryham Lane. Open 7:30am till dusk. Please note parking at North Cave is now via the PayByPhone app. If you are a member of Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, you will have been sent a code to receive free parking - please get in touch if you have not received this. If you are not already a member of Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, you will need to pay via the PayByPhone app. Charges are £3 for 2 hours or £6 all-day. This money will go back into our work driving nature's recovery in Yorkshire.

Cancellation and refunds

In the situation that Yorkshire Wildlife Trust needs to cancel an event we will be in touch regarding your booking via email and our Supporter Services team will process the refund of your tickets as soon as possible. Please allow up to 5 working days for this to happen. If you, or members of your party, are unable to attend your booked event, you are eligible for a refund up to 7 days before the event date.
