Join us live at Penistone Proms For Poppies for a night of music and remembrance you won’t forget in aid of two amazing charities.

This special evening of music, song and spoken word in honour of Remembrance Day features a variety of talented local performers who are generously donating their time and fee.

Penistone Proms For Poppies promises an evening of remembrance, inspiration and community spirit.

On the night, you’ll not only be able to listen to a wide range of musi, you'll also be able to browse and buy beautiful art and crafts from the Poppies With Purpose Exhibition. Created by local artists and makers, a minimum of 30% of all sales will also be donated to our two worthy causes.

Refreshments including wine, tea, coffee and cake will be available and there will be a raffle in aid of the two charities.

Doors open 5pm-11pm with a break midway through performances allowing you to soak up the atmosphere, perhaps purchase some inspirational art and support two important local causes.

All proceeds will go towards the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and the St John the Baptist Church Tower & Clock Renovation Appeal.

Friday 6th November | 6–10pm - St John The Baptist Church, Shrewsbury Road, Penistone. Tickets £12.50 with a limited amount available from both the Church and the remainder through Eventbrite.

Penistone Proms For Poppies is part of Poppies With Purpose, a free Penistone Arts Week fringe event running 2–14 November 10am-4pm daily.
