Thanks to funding from Red Kite Housing we are delighted to bring you Wilding Women - a series of 8 nature & conservation sessions at Funges Meadow.

Transport & Address:
Meet us on site at Funges Meadow. We will meet at 1.30pm and finish at approximately 3.30pm. We will meet at the pedestrian gate entrance on Bowden Lane. There isn't much parking available on Bowden Lane, and residents may get upset if you park there. There is free parking on Keep Hill Road, or paid parking is available at the Rye Lido. The nearest postcode is: HP11 1DL.
If you would like a lift to the site, we have space in one of our vehicles for a limited number of people. We will be leaving from our depot at 1.00pm prompt and will return you there after the session. The address is Kingsmead Depot, 60 Fennels Road, High Wycombe, HP11 1SL. If you do need a lift, please book a separate ticket for that as well as an 'add-on'.

The Task:
Come along for a lovely afternoon in nature, connecting with other women and discovering the hidden delights of this beautiful nature reserve, which is not open to the general public. We will have some time for a guided exploration of nature on the site and also join in a variety of light conservation tasks.
What to Bring:
Bring along gardening gloves if you have them (we will have plenty of spares) and dress for the weather and the task - long trousers are advisable to protect against ticks and thorny vegetation.
If you need to borrow waterproofs or boots, please let us know when you book your ticket.
Please bring your own filled water bottle.
We will be bringing a tea kit and biscuits.
Hand washing facilities will be available.
Please note:
Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.
