Following the success of their concerts together back in 2023, John Grant and Richard Hawley will reunite this Summer for four UK/EU shows to celebrate of the late, legendary country star Patsy Cline . Originally commissioned by Factory International for Manchester International Festival 2023, this unique collaboration brings together two modern-day icons to perform Cline’s beloved repertoire for the second time. John Grant, renowned for his searing wit, tenderness, and commanding stage presence, will lend his powerful vocals to the proceedings, while Richard Hawley and his band, widely considered one of the best live acts in the UK, will provide their signature sound, taking the audience on a musical journey through Cline's beloved hits, reimagining them with unique artistry and emotional depth. Drawing from a songbook full of classics like Walkin' After Midnight and Crazy , audiences will hear the crème de la crème of country pop from Grant and Hawley. With songs spanning romance, heartbreak, and drama, infused with joy for good measure, this promises to be a sonic and visual feast that will leave a lasting impression. Regular Music’s annual Summer Nights festival, which runs from the end of July into August each year, has become a firm favourite with music fans and scooped the Unesco City of Music Best Live Event at the Scottish Music Awards in 2017. Gates for Summer Nights at the Bandstand open each night at 6.30pm with draft bars serving a range of drinks including Birra Moretti lager and a selection of delicious street food available.
