Join our free monthly sewing classes "Sew You Can!", taking place the last Sunday of each month in July, August and September 2026. You can drop-in anytime between 1 - 4pm, and stay as little or long as you like (we are closing at 4pm). The sessions are focused on clothing repair so bring along any clothing or projects that need a make-over or repair. Our facilitator Nicki (they/them) will help you practice e.g. replacing buttons, patching holes, taking up hems, fixing ripped seams, or making one of Nicki's pre-designed mini-projects from our fabric scraps. Beginners welcome, practice fabrics and all sewing materials (hand-sewing and sewing machine) provided. Please note, this class is most suitable for adults and young people aged 16+ This session is designed as a relaxed community sewing session. You can work together or independently. We will be selling refreshments and cakes, and play some light music in the background. Our venue is wheelchair accessible and we have an accessible toilet on site (door width 90cm).
