About This Event

Step back in time at this lively bowls celebration that brings the history of the sport to life. Enjoy a colourful pageant inspired by ancient Egypt and Rome including a friendly tournament for experienced players, first-timers and juniors as well as a pipe band parade. Costumes, bowls and guidance are all provided. The parade around Garrowhill starts at 10.00hrs. Presentation on “Bowling Through The Ages” at Garrowhill Bowling Club starts at 11.00hrs. Bowling Tournament at Garrowhill Bowling club starts at 11.30hrs All are welcome but team players should be at a minimum 10 years old
