The FND Glasgow Awareness Support Circle is held at the Parkhead Hub. It provides a support space for individuals living with Functional Neurological Disorder.
Living with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) can be challenging, often leaving individuals feeling isolated and misunderstood. That’s why we’ve created the Glasgow FND Awareness Support Circle — a community dedicated to providing support, raising awareness, and fostering understanding about FND in Glasgow and surrounding areas. Our support circle is a safe space where those affected by FND, their families, friends, and supporters can come together to share experiences, learn more about the condition, and find comfort in knowing they’re not alone. What we offer: Peer Support: Connect with others who understand what you're going through. Information & Resources: Access the latest information about FND, treatments, and coping strategies. Awareness Campaigns: Help us raise awareness to reduce stigma and promote understanding in the wider community. Events & Workshops: Participate in educational sessions, guest speakers, and community events. Advocacy: Work together to advocate for better healthcare services and support systems for FND patients. Whether you're newly diagnosed, a long-term survivor, or a supporter, your presence and voice matter. Together, we can make a difference in spreading awareness and providing support for those affected by FND. Join us! To learn more or get involved, please follow our page for updates on upcoming meetings and events. Let’s build a supportive community and shine a light on FND. Your journey matters, and you are not alone.
