Our route brings us to the shores of Loch Lomond , a beautiful loch immortalised in songs, poems and legend. Our first stop is the pretty village of Balmaha , with the option to take a morning waterbus (£14 per person) for a serene cruise across the loch. Gliding between tree-clad islands with Ben Lomond rising above the water, this is the ideal way to experience one of Scotland's most famous lochs.
Luss
Disembarking the boat, we arrive in the picturesque village of Luss , where stone cottages and colourful gardens line the streets. There's time here to enjoy lunch and take in the views before our journey continues into the Highlands.
Killin & the Falls of Dochart
Travelling north through beautiful scenery we arrive at Killin , where the spectacular Falls of Dochart tumble beneath an old stone bridge. A perfect spot for photographs.
