Funky Booze is Edinburgh's independent spirits festival, bringing together whisky, gin, rum, food, live music.

Three years ago, we set out with a simple idea: to prove that January doesn't have to be dull.

We created Funky Booze, a festival that brings together outstanding spirits, incredible people, great food, live music, and unforgettable experiences under one roof.After two fantastic editions filled with amazing drams, packed masterclasses, fantastic exhibitors, and hundreds of smiling faces, Funky Booze is back for Chapter Three—bigger, bolder, and funkier than ever.

We'll take over the stunning Assembly Roxy in the heart of Edinburgh for a full day dedicated to discovering exceptional spirits, meeting passionate producers, enjoying delicious food, and celebrating the vibrant community that makes this industry so special.This year's festival has even more to offer, exciting new experiences, exclusive bottlings, live entertainment throughout the day, and a programme of engaging masterclasses led by some of the most respected names in the drinks industry.

The festival will run across two three-hour sessions, allowing you to choose the experience that suits you best—or join us for both and enjoy everything Funky Booze has to offer.

As you wander around the hall, you'll have the chance to taste exceptional spirits from independent bottlers, distilleries, breweries, wineries, and artisan producers from Scotland and beyond. Found your new favourite dram? Visit our festival shop and take a bottle home with you.Need to recharge? Our carefully selected food vendors will be serving delicious dishes throughout the day, while our live band keeps the atmosphere buzzing with great music from start to finish.Our masterclasses will also return, offering the opportunity to dive deeper into the stories, flavours, and craftsmanship behind some truly remarkable spirits.
